final update of the summer
the birmingham trip has come and gone. i have worked my butt off in lane bryant all summer for little compensation.
besides family issues--not caused by me (for once)--everything is relatively "normal" for sarah terms
there has, however, been a change of plans for this coming year. and i apologize for throwing this on most of you for the first time, what with the start of school being a week away. for the academic year 05-06, i will not be a full time student. i will still be a meredith student, though taking just voice, piano, opera workshop, and potentially one other class. i will be living in cary, nc (just a short drive from school) off of harrison avenue (from I-40, take N harrison going south, right on dynasty, and im in that neighborhood.) i'll be employed full time by a nearby company, but will have nights and weekends available for the most part.
why am i telling you all of this? because its something major happening, and most of you are friends and deserve to know this.
dont be fooled--im very excited about the notion of living in this fabulous apt (with a GY-NORE-MOUS bedroom, MASSIVE closet, sunroom/office, bar that seats 5, etc). if anyone is looking for something to do sun, aug 14 or mon, aug 15, or just craving pizza in mass quantities, i will be unloading my uhaul and moving things into the apt. anyone who comes to help (even if for just an hour) will be stuffed CHOCK FULL of pizza (and how). please call to let me know if you can help, or im me (you know-or should-the sn) for directions.
anyhoo, ill be online for the next week, and after that, itll be "spuratic" (the spelling is to quote the tramp of a girlfriend my brother is dating). the cell phone is the same (703-405-8134), so dont lose it!!
must run, i have a headache and tomorrow is my last day at work until my first solo move. (7 days and counting). a bientot
