music theory: tia was working on her recital program during class, and it wouldve been fine if she had just skipped elsewhere and not done it right in front of dr vaglio. at the end, he does the usual "im concerned" and implies that tia's been doing this all semester. he says that hes been very helpful to her in the past, and then says "i dont mean to single you out" and tia says "well you are." in a very 'im a grown up and wont let you talk to me like im 5' kind of voice. they just about duke it out in class, but tia does the adult thing and just walks away. then, he closes the door so no one outside could here. we were all looking at the ground and feeling OH so uncomfortable b/c thats just not something you do in front of a class of students. then he goes on and on about "what would you do in my shoes?" etc. and was really saying some inappropriate things about tia, etc. i was the only one to speak up. i said that its none of our business, and that he should talk to tia if theres an issue b/c we cant do anything. it was bad.
keyboarding: my quiz yesterday--i screwed up some composing stuff. not because i dont know it, but b/c i did it 10 min before the test and didnt have any time to actually do it. so he gives a whole lesson about the invention of four part harmony, and the difference between close and open position. it was terribly redundant. and boring.
