Cooked dinner for the BF. Red sauce with broccoli over whole wheat pasta. Came pretty good. BF made me drink 2 glasses of wine. Was feeling fuzzy but I think I'm actually a little drunk now. He's on the couch and snoring, I think I might take a little cat nap as well. So far it's been a nice, lazy Sunday :)

Recipe for Broccoli with Marinara sauce

2 16 oz can crushed tomatos 
2 cups broccoli, cut small
4 cloves garlic, sliced
3 tbsp olive oil
1/4  cup chopped parsley
salt and pepper to taste
crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 lb. whole wheat penne (or your favorite pasta)

1. Pour olive oil into large, heated saucepan. Add garlic and brown it. (Make sure you don't burn it)

2. Add crushed tomatoes, parsley, salt and pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook on low heat for about 20 minutes.

3. Add broccoli and cover. Cook for about 10 more minutes. Broccoli is still a little firm, cook for longer if you like it softer.

4. Serve over cooked pasta and enjoy!
