Change of Venue
It's been a hectic week. Received a call on Monday, "We're still going to have our meeting, but we have a new location."
Me: "Sure - which conference room?"
Voice: "Hmm... we'll meet in New York."
Me: *Quiet for a spell* "OK, where in New York? And if we do this, can we meet the night before and have our meeting over dinner?"
Voice: *silence*
Me: "No boozing, OK. We have to work. I'm trading my meeting for your trip to New York."
Voice: "All right. Let's do it."
Looking back, I can't believe I spoke to the Voice like that. I think I did not like the change of venue. But I got over it, and I think he got over it, too.

School is out as of next Monday. Found out I have to go to Paris in June.
We're going to eat popcorn and watch Monk tonight. And in a few weeks, we're going to Los Cabos. Fishing. And pirate ships. And jet skis.
Much happier, it's been a good week despite the chaos.
