To say that my weekend was a complete horror doesn't do it justice.
However, in spite of the bad stuff, it was intermixed with lots of awesome company.
Perhaps I just needed some room to breathe.

Friday
after class, i met up with joyce and had lunch with her. we chatted for really long which resulted in me heading home at 2pm and not arriving at CC until almost 3pm. i worked until 8pm and came home to shower and pack. picked up conway from his place, who took his sweet ass time and didn't pick up the phone when i got there, and headed back to toronto. after dropping off conway at his house, my car skidded at a park in etobicoke and crashed into three sign posts. after getting back onto the highway, i was stuck in traffic on the 401 for an hour and didn't get to francis's house until after midnight. when i got there, i just decided to eat cuz i felt so shaken up. i ate so much food that for the rest of the weekend, i couldn't really eat much cuz my body was still digesting. after leaving francis's house at 3pm and getting a ticket, i got pulled over as aforementioned. i got home, sat in front of the computer for a bit, just kinda feeling a little disoriented and went to bed at 5.

Saturday
went out for lunch with andrea x2, sameer, and alan at destiny. i didn't really eat much but had a really good drink. sameer then drove us around to various sporting stores so the andreas can get their boxing gloves. got home at 5pm and got ready to go out for winterlicicous with tony. tony and i went to n'awlins, which is a jazz bar on the king west village. the ambiance was really nice and the food was decent. got back uptown around 10 and nick came over and we hung out at my place until 1ish

Sunday
went out for lunch with alex at terroni on queen west. i got lost on the way there cuz i missed the exit for bathurst on the gardiner. took forever to get there and parked pretty far. it was cold. the pizza was pretty good, but the company was better ;) during lunch, my dad called to tell me that he got into a fight with my mom and that she ran off somewhere and he has no idea where she is. he wanted me to call her cell and see where she was. but i didn't have my calling card with me and he didn't want me to tell her that he told me she was missing so it didn't make sense to call her at 2am china time :S. I ended up calling her when i got home but she turned off her cell.
Got back uptown at around 4 (traffic again on the dvp) and was gonna go study with andrew and danny at starbucks when my brother found out that our washing machine broke. spent time figuring out what to do and didn't end up meeting up with andrew. at around 6, i met up with alice at destiny (i wanted my drink again) and we chatted until 8pm. I then dropped off some stuff at Matt's house and he surprised me with grey's, which was really sweet. I headed to nick's house afterwards where he made me feel 100x better about my life going horribly wrong (for reasons not mentioned here).
I got home at around 11pm and found out i lost my credit card again. had to call visa to cancel, and the woman on phone was really rude. my dad called me afterwards at around midnight to tell me that he found my mom and then started bitching about her and all our financial troubles for an hour. although i was in the middle of packing to go back to waterloo, i didn't have the heart to tell him so i let him vent for an hour. By 1am i was way too tired to go back to loo so i just went out and got gas, in the freezing cold, and came home and passed out in bed.

i was supposed to also meet up with jason, dave, and maryam this weekend, separately, but it was just impossible to fit them in. i felt bad about jason because he's leaving for taiwan for good on thurs, but i guess since we were never that close to begin with, it's no biggie.

woke up this morning and drove back to loo at 8am
fell asleep in my anthropology class
came home after the english society meeting, showered, ate and slept
i dont want to leave my house ever again
