[KHR!] fireworks.
Series: Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
Word Count: 524.
Characters/Pairings:TsunaHaru.
Notes: LOLTHISSTORY.
I wrote it in like. Five minutes. No joke. And yet for some reason, people seem to like it. I used to like it more, but now since I'm such a TsunaUni fan... yeah. xD;
It's just pointless fluff, no plot. Woo~
Writing stuff like this is nice every once and a while. I enjoy it; it's a fun break from my usual deeper, depressing writing. =w=;
Summary: She said she fell in love with him, and she didn't realize how true this was until they were older.
Fireworks.
"It was wonderful of you to jump in place of Reborn-chan .. Tenth."
She said it, flushed and smiling like an idiot, and Tsuna tried to ignore it. She chased after him, and they were both red-faced, albeit for different reasons.
She said she fell in love with him, and she didn't realize how true this was until they were older.
Haru could still remember running up and down the stream banks after the flustered boy, with him only in his boxers and both of them dripping from the river water. He was yelling something about her staying away, and she just laughed.
Haru didn't ask him to love her in return, because she had always known, somewhere, that he didn't. When they were young, she knew he liked Kyoko, but that didn't stop her from loving him. He was kind and adorable, and she wouldn't be able to help it.
He made her cry for the first time when they were in the future. He had yelled and frightened her, and she had run away. She told herself she had just wanted to understand, and that he didn't have to yell at her. She forgave him the instant she saw him coming towards her, nervous and guilty. She didn't even need to hear the apology. She smiled and fell in love again.
He made her so silent from shock for the first time after coming back. She can't even remember why, now, but it had stopped her breathing and she stared at his back and realized that it was broader than she remembered. He said "I'll protect you, so don't worry." She smiled at his back and nodded, falling in love again.
He hugged her normally for the first time when they were eighteen, said it was a birthday present. She laughed, and hugged him back, feeling him shift uneasily. He still hugged her and they stayed like that for a little while. He pulled away and she smiled, and decided she loved him most, right then.
But then he kissed her for the first time when they were twenty. It was something she hadn't expected, but under the light from the fireworks, it somehow felt right.
He pulled away and blushed, looking at her shyly. She didn't feel the need to say anything, really. She just smiled and felt that she loved him more than she ever had, if that was even possible.
She was still laughing and smiling. Even after a year, five years, and ten years, they still go red-faced, albeit for different reasons now. They don't often hold hands, but walk beside each other and talk with each other. They don't always hold each other, because it's special. They don't really kiss in public because he's shy, but she doesn't mind.
She's never minded anything about him, after all, because that's how the wife of a mafia boss should be.
He asked her to marry him when they were twenty-three. She didn't need to say anything; she just smiled. That was how the wife of a mafia boss should be.
( She would celebrate and squeal later. )
