Upsetting music

I don't usually hear music that actually makes me feel ill, but a CD acquired in London the other day has necessitated playing it in three sessions. It's music from the Jon Pertwee era of DR WHO back in the 1970s, featuring very avant-garde experimental synthesizer noises from the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. Well over half the disc (43 minutes out of 78) is taken up with the score to "The Sea Devils" and it's extraordinarily difficult to listen to; it's almost random. There are sort of vague occasional hints of a tune here and there, but mostly it's jagged, blaring, buzzing noises. And I had to stop it twice.
