For someone who calls themselves a cynic you sure have a lot of idealism going on about how the world could (or even should) be a better place with a few changes. This approach seems utterly Gryffindor to me.
It wearies me and frightens me beyond belief when I hear scientists are now able to induce eternal life, or invisibility, or even mind control. There is a reason we do not already possess these things, people seem to forget. Really? I'd definitely love discussing this with you some day because I believe almost everything we can explore and find out about is worth researching from a scientific point of view. All the breakthroughs in science have once been things we did not already possess after all. For a reason? Maybe, but today's medicine for example wouldn't be the same if no one had dared to think about seemingly impossible developments that might also have been (or still be) scary from a moralist's point of view.

It started out Gryffindor, but that disappeared after two answers. There is more passion than intellectual curiosity, but it is of the Hufflepuff kind. It will be interesting to see where you end up!

Your application is hysterical. It was a very amusing read and I thoroughly enjoyed it- so thanks for that!
That being said, GRYFFINDOR. Blunt, idealistic, witty and adventure-orientated. You are curious and analytical, but your answer to the time-turner question sealed the deal: you want to experience life.

Gryffindor, although I'd love to see you here in Ravenclaw. You're passionate, independent, and you think big. You want to make your mark on the world, to change it for the better. You like to be your own boss and you have a temper. But you are tolerant of others as well. I think you would fit in well with the Lions.
Re: your fourth weakness. I FEEL YOUR PAIN. That's a very Ravenclaw trait, actually. Er, anyway. Welcome!
