  • What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why? I would love to be an Auror! Defence against the dark arts is awesome and i would love to be involved in that line of work. I would enjoy doing something for the 'greater good' and being an Auror would work well for me because I am quite adventurous and am always up for a challenge. Alternatively, I would like to work in a job that would allow me to work against the discrimination towards magical creatures/beings such as centaurs and house-elves and by doing this would be able to fight for the rights of magical creatures that are poorly understood.

  • If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why?
I would chose to teach defence against Defence agianst the Dark Arts. It would be fantastic to teach students how to defend themselves and stand up for what is right. My classes would be run DA-style, with lots of practical/team work. It would be and inspiring class to teach as you would be teaching the students to really believe in thier magical ability when attempting complex spells such as Patronuses.
  • This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not? It would be one of me impulsive decisions. I would probably enter without really thinking of the consequences, just excited at the prospect of a new adventure, and eager for the challenge. I would love the chance to represent my school and would like to think that I had what it takes to become the Triwizard Champion. I like being in the spotlight and would relish in the chance to prove myself.

  • If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why? I would probably chose to be something practical like a cat, which wouldn't seems suspicious to the Muggles and which I could use to my advantage in my preffered proffesion of being an Auror! I love the personalities of cats, they seems so wise and intelligent. It would be awesome to move in the lithe manner that they do and to pass by sleekly and unnoticed.

  • What HP character do you identify with most and why?
Hermione, because I tend to be a 'know-it-all' I like to always have the answers and feel slightly disheartened when I get something wrong. I am quite pedantic about what sort of marks I get and am a bit of a high acheiver. I have very high expectations/standards for myself. I also think I can understand other people's feelings well, like Hermione does with Ron and Harry. Like her, I am sensitive but can also put my guard up and carry on.
  • What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised?
As a Muggle looking into the mirror, I would probably see myself being part of teh wizarding world. I have dreamed about since I was seven when I first read the book, and have always desperately wanted to be part of it. Otherwise, I might see myself truly happy and successful in my own right, having made some sort of difference in the world.
  • If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it? Firstly, I would use the money to get the message across about a issue I feel very strongly about which is the use of child soldiers. Injustice in the world disgusts me and I would like to make a difference. Then, I would use the money to make the pilgrimage to the birthplace of HP and but lots of HP memorabilia. Of course I would also help out my family and save some for the future.

  • What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now? I never used to really think about what job I wanted. Instead I used to think about who I would like to be. When I was younger I wanted to be Hermione. And nothing has changed, to this day I still do. But if you really must know what job I wanted, it was a Princess (yes, silly little me considered it a job). These days, aside from still wanting to be Hermione, I would love to become a writer/journalist or an actor. Very precarious, I know.
Otherwise, I would like to work for an organisation such as Amnesty International where I could work to improve the living conditions of others and work against the atrocities in our world which pass by unnoticed.

  • If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it? I would invent a charm which restores hope. It will work against sadness and despair and allow people to believe in themselves, when they have almost given up. It is not a cahrm which should be used on a day-to- day basis, but is a charm to show people that all hope is not lost, and to compel people to carry on. It is used for people who have suffered terrible things, and can be used in the healing process. It would be called the 'memerospes' charm which is a combination of latin words for 'remember' and 'hope'

  • If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus? My boggart would probably turn into teh dead bodies of the people I love (like Mrs. Weasleys boggart). It frightens me to lose them, because I don't know how I would carry on without them. Otherwise, I would see myself as a failure (similar to Hermione's boggart) because I constantly worry about not achivieing my dreams and expectations.

  • What do you look for in a friend? I look for someone who is not afraid to be an individual, who I can have interesting conversations with and who can understand me. I enjoy spending time with people who are motivated and who aren't afraid to voice their views. I get along well with people who laugh easily and can always see the funny side to everything, and who take pleasure in making the mundane exciting. Above all, I value people who are loyal, understanding of me and who are always there to brighten up my day.

  • What trait most annoys you about other people? I dislike narrow-mindedness and people who are unwilling to accept people who are 'different'. I dislike people who are two, faced, who seem uneasy and radiate a sense of ebing untrustworthy. People who are 'snobs' really irritate me, I dislike people who places themselves at a higher level than others and who are only friends with selected people.

  • What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
-Intelligence: I love to learn, and would say that I am quite an intelligent person.
-Friendliness: I'm not really a shy kind of person and am always willing to make conversation. I love meeting new people.
-Compassion: I always worry about other people's lives and about the way others feel. I am always mindful of others around me.
-Imagination: I am endlessly dreaming, my dreams can take me anywhere. I love to dream about the future; what I could
be and what I could achieve.
  • What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
-Irrational: I become irrational when I stress too much, and at those times I do not always think clearly.
-Grumpyness: I become grumpy too easily when I let myself down or when I cant handle all the thoughts in my head(a pensieve would be handy!)
-Jealousy: I tend to be jealous of other people. I have high standards for myself and I come down to hard on myself if I dont acheive the results I had aimed for. (I dislike being second-best)
-Procrastinating: When the work piles up I tend to procrastinate!
-Obsessions: I become quite obsessive over somethings ie. work. I also go throught phases of obsessions with different kinds of things, which can be quite unhealthy for my mindset
  • Define in your own words the following key traits:

    • Courage: Not allowing yourself to be controlled by another and always striving towards what is right and standing up for what you belive in. Courage is facing your demons head-on and comitting a selfless act for the benifit of others.
    • Loyalty: Staying true to your word and to those you care about. A loyal person knows right from wrong and and witholds the secrets others have entrusted them with.
    • Intelligence: Ability to soak up information from all areas and be quick-witted. To be able to apply general knowledge to solve problems. Intelligence is noticing change and being able to draw quick conclusions based on your wits/instincts.
    • Ambition: The dreams you desperately want to come true. Ambition is what drives you to achieve your best and compels you to perservere.
