  • What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why?I think I can see myself being a Healer or a school nurse, like Madam Pomfrey. I like helping people; it makes me feel good about myself. I'm not sure exactly how to accomplish this in the wizarding world. I'm not sure if there are "colleges" like there are in the real world. At Hogwarts, though, I would have gone for N.E.W.T.S. specifically geared towards the Healer and Nurse career. I would also be sure to interview healers and Madam Pomphrey to get a feel for what a typical day was like, the requirements, etc.

  • If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why?I think I would like to teach Transfiguration the most. I find that the most interesting of all the classes, how you could turn something like a mouse into a tea cup. Knowing how to transfigure things would make it easier to become an animagus, like the good old Mauraders. I can't really explain why I think I would do so well except that I'm interested in transfiguration so it would keep my attention more than a class like History of Magic, which we all know puts just about all the students to sleep!

  • This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not?No, I wouldn't. I'm the kind of person that would not put herself in danger, and the Triwizard Tournament was dangerous. I would be so terrified of thoe dragons I would probably faint on sight and fall off my broom. No, I would rather watch the tournament and root for my favorite champion.

  • If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why? I would choose a snake, because I am not a brave person and I believe I would feel braver as a snake. Many animals and people fear the snake so I would feel like I was getting a bit of respect. I also think it would be fun to slither around the castle and get into spaces I wouldn't be able to in human form!

  • What HP character do you identify with most and why? There are actually two people I think I can relate to the most--Severus Snape and Remus Lupin. Like both of them, I am very introverted person. Like Remus, I also suffer from low self-esteem and don't think highly about myself. Like Severus, I can be very bitter at times. I also see Severus as the type of person that would rather be alone most of the time. I value solitude immensely, almost too much if truth be told. In real life I don't make friends easily, partly because I'm shy and partly because I don't have the strong desire to be around people often. However I don't see Severus as having many people (if any) that he cares about, which is the opposite of me. So if I had to choose between the two, I'd have to say I was more like Lupin for the reasons stated above. My favorite character changes each time I read the books over again. I'd have to say lately my favorite character has been Remus Lupin. He has the type of personality I would want in a man--warmth, compassion, and understanding. I don't really like people that tend to think too highly of themselves, and Remus definately doesn't. He is very humble, which is a characteristic I admire in people. Like me, he also likes people to like him. I see that as both strength and a weakness. It's a strength because, if you need to care at least somewhat about what others think of you in order for you to care about people. It's a weakness because you can lose your own identity in caring too much about what others think of you and then you are not true to yourself.

  • What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised? I would see myself, happy and successful. I would have reached all my goals and I would have the self-confidence that I lacked for so long. I would also be happily married to a wonderful, understanding man and perhaps have a few children.

  • If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it?The first thing I would do would be pay off all my bills. That would be one less anxiety for me. The next thing I would do is take a nice vacation somewhere around the world. I love to travel and haven't been able to for ages. After that, I would probably settle down and maybe buy a new car or something. The rest of the money would be secured at the bank until I needed it for something.

  • What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now? I think at one point my ideal job was to be an actress. I laugh at that because I'm shy and hardly have the body of an actress. ;) Besides, I don't think I would want the fame that goes along with that job. It takes away from my privacy, which I value. Now, my ideal job would be a doctor. I am a medical assistant in a doctor's office and I know I would still have a long way to go. I would be the kind of doctor that makes house calls to help patients that are not able to make it into the office. I would not want to be so busy that I didn't have time for my family though.

  • If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it? I would invent a potion that makes you resistant to the Cruciatus Curse. To me, that it is the worst curse of all because it is just torture and pain. I think it's worse than Avada Kadavra because you die instantly with that. Many people would rather die than be tortured. My potion would be resistant to the Cruciatus Curse and I would call it the Longbottom potion, inspired from Frank and Alice Longbottom.

  • If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus?I believe it would be that I am a perfectionist. It can be a good thing also, but perfectionism can also keep a person from enjoying life. I tend to want to be the best at everything (which of course I'm not) so I get really envious and jealous of people I see that have different qualities I want. I automatically think that because they have these qualities, that makes them better than me. Also, being a perfectionist, I tend to spend longer amounts of time on things like schoolwork because I can't hand them in until they're absolutely perfect!

  • What do you look for in a friend? I look for a person that is loyal and trustworthy. I also look for a person that shares my interests and has a similar personality to me. I also like people to be sympathetic and understanding of things.

  • What trait most annoys you about other people?I believe the worst quality a person could have would be not to have empathy for others. Serial killers have no no conscience and cannot relate to how their victims feel. I truly believe that people like that should have what's coming to them. "An eye for an eye" if you will. I would never hurt anybody intentionally and I believe that those who do should get the worst form of punishment.

  • What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities? My top five qualities are: 1. I am a loyal person, but first you need to earn my trust. I don't trust easily. Once you have proven yourself trustworthy, I am like a loyal puppy dog. 2. I also a very tactful person. If you do something wrong, I will tell you nicely, not rudely. 3.I also see myself as very helpful. If somebody at work needs my help, I will gladly do what I can to help them. I like to help other because because it makes me feel good to know that I can make a difference in other people's lives. 4. I am very sensitive. This can be a good thing and a bad thing. I can relate to people's problems. 5. I am very hardworking when I need to be. At work I can get things done without being told twice.

  • What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?1.I believe my worst would be that I am a perfectionist. It can be a good thing also, but perfectionism can also keep a person from enjoying life. I tend to want to be the best at everything (which of course I'm not) so I get really envious and jealous of people I see that have different qualities I want. I automatically think that because they have these qualities, that makes them better than me. Also, being a perfectionist, I tend to spend longer amounts of time on things like schoolwork because I can't hand them in until they're absolutely perfect!2. I am also too emotional. 3.I really hate the fact that I'm a coward. I hate being afraid of things. 4.I am also very shy, which I hate. Again, that goes with being afraid. 5.Lastely, I am a very jealous person. I look at other people who have something I want and I automatically think they are better than me, which makes me upset.

  • Define in your own words the following key traits:
    • Courage:I mostly think of being "not afraid" of things and standing up for what you believe in.
    • Loyalty: Loyalty to me is sticking by your friends and/or family through thick and thin, no matter what.
    • Intelligence:There are a few different kinds of intelligence. I automatically think of "book smarts", and the ability to get good grades and know what you need to know to get ahead in life.
    • Ambition:Ambition to me is the desire to better yourself, to do what it takes to reach your dreams and goals.
