  • What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why? Well, I think I'd enjoy owning a shop in Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley. Not sure what I'd sell, but that sounds like fun. That, or Gamekeeper at Hogwarts. I love reading about all of the magical creatures that wander the wizarding world, and taking care of them would be pretty cool.

  • If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why? I'd probably teach Defense Against the Dark Arts. This is probably a predicatable answer, but it seems like the most interesting, (and risky) subject to teach at Hogwarts. I have a little bit of a fascination with curses and dark spells and such, so I'd love to learn about them and then pass that knowledge on to other students. It's the most useful too. Knowing how to protect yourself from danger seems like a practical thing to teach people, too bad they don't do it more in schools here.

  • This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not? I would definitely not put my name in there. It makes me nervouse just thinking about it. I most certainly don't have enough confidence in myself to try that sort of thing. Plus, I'm lazy. Couldn't imagine having normal schoolwork, and then having to solve riddles and fight dragons on the side. Responsibility is ahard thing for me to deal with. Having to represent the whole school would be too big a burden for me.

  • If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why? I'd be something that flies, or something that lives underwater. Could you even do that? I think it'd be great to be a dolphin, living a world so unlike our own, but still being smart and clever mentally advanced. Or maybe an owl. Yeah, an owl. Having the freedom to fly sounds amazing, probably because it's something I'll never be able to do. I'm already basically nocturnal, so that wouldn't be a difficult transition. And night-vision and turning your head 360 degrees? Sounds awesome to me!

  • What HP character do you identify with most and why? I guess I identify the most with Remus Lupin. He's a shy, quiet bookworm who has the craziest friends, which is basically my life. And then he has this hidden part of him that only his friends know about, andcomes out only during the full moon. Well, I'm not a werewolf (thank god), but sometimes I feel like I have a completely different personality that only my friends see. I don't consider it a disease that needs to be hidden (like Lupin), but I hide it from most people. Not sure why. And there you go, my inner psyche explained. (Ron Weasley would be my second choice, because he's funny and has a hard time expressing how he feels.)

  • What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised? I'd probably see my mom and my dad, and me, and everyone staying exactly the way they are forever. I really don't like change, it just means time's still progressing. And I hate that. I never really knew my dad, since he passed away when I was five. I wish I could at least remember some things about him, even though it would be more painful having lost him. And knowing that after I go to college I'll probably never see some of my friends again scares me to death. Even never seeing the people I don't like ever again makes me sad, because it all means we're moving on. Growing older. Having everything be reliable, and staying the same is what I want most, even though I know it's extremely unhealthy to feel that way.

  • If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it? If I won a million dollars, I think most of it would go to travelling. I'd give part of it to my family, which is basically my mother and half-sister, and then use the rest to go around the world. Scotland would be first on my list. It looks so beautiful, with all of the open, green land and hills. Then, I'd see every Broadway or off-Broadway play I've ever wanted to see. Muscials are my life. The rest I'd use for college, and then charities.

  • What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now? My ideal job when I was little was a vet. I really loved animals; still do. Now that I think about it, it still sounds like a great job to me. Or running an animal shelter. On the other hand, I adore music as well. I'd love to be a professional violinist, but I don't think I'm talented enough to do that. So I usually just push it out of my mind.

  • If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it? This is a really hard one! Probably a spell to fly without a broom or anything. Which I guess could be a potion to grow wings. I'm not sure why I love the idea of flying so much, but it just seems like the ultimate freedom, just leaving whereever you are and going off into the sky. As for a name, I'm really not sure. Maybe S'envoler, which is french for "fly away." But that's pretty dumb, isn't it?

  • If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus? Whatever the personified form of death would be. I'm not a particularly morbid person, but the thought of not living...not existing anymore really and truly frightens me. I guess it would look like a grave. After I said "Riddikulus," it would probably turn into a dance floor, because I absolutely love dancing, albeit horribly.

  • What do you look for in a friend? I love smart, funny, open-minded people. If someone makes me laugh, I'm instantly drawn to them. I suppose it's nice to have some common interests, since that's how most people get acquainted. But I don't expect anyone to have the same exact views or interests as me; that would be boring. I like learning about new things, so people with different backgrounds and hobbies really intrigue me. I can even handle big political differences, as long as they're not trying to convert me. I like emotional stability. I know that sounds weird, but some of my friends chnage moods so quickly, and I can't really handle that. Calm down. And above all, just being a nice person.

  • What trait most annoys you about other people? The most? Intolerance. I just don't understand people who discriminate, at all. Whether it be race, gender, class, sexuality, there's not reason for it. The second would be rudeness, although I think the two are kind of related. A "if you have one, then you have the other" sort of thing. Even people who don't say thank you when you hold the door open irk me. It's not difficult to do, just be polite. And dear god, don't even get me started on rude children :P

  • What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities? I'm not sure there are five.

1)Umm...I like to think that I'm funny, at least sometimes. Not sure if sarcastic counts as good or bad, probably a bad quality. But I hearing people laugh and be happy, especially when I'm the cause.
2)Tolerant of everyone and everything, as far as I know. I try never to judge people.
3)I'm pretty good when it comes to proper grammer, spelling, and things like that; netspeak pisses me off, a lot. It doesn't take that much longer to write "you" or "because" than it does to write "u" or "cuz". Ugh.
4)Great secret-keeper, I suppose. This correlates to me hating gossip and drama, and those who start it. So I guess I'm not tolerant of everything, if I hate stupid people. Does that make me a hypocrite?
5)I'm mature, I guess. Sometimes I feel like my soul is older than I am, that I acted the way other teenagers are acting when I was nine years old. So, emotionally and mentally mature, although I can be kind of perverted with my friends. See? That's my other side, my hidden side :D

  • What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities? Alright, this is where the fun begins. Where do I start?
1)Laziness. This is a BIG one. I lack motivation to do anything most of the time. I hate exerting myself. Well, unless it benefits me. That's motivation. But sometimes even that doesn't make me want to get off the couch and do something productive.
2)No sense of reality. I live in a fantasy world of Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, and LOTR. Yep, complete geek over here! I hate having to think about things happening in real life, so I like to stay in the comfort of these universes. I'm also a complete cynical romantic, who believes in true love and fairy tales and happily-ever after, just not in the world we're living in.
3)Being a hypocrite sometimes. I'm not sure if I'm a hypocrite as much as I have a really hard time making decisions, standing by them, and taking responsibility for them. I hate being a leader of anything, because I hate failing.
4)Lack of confidence. This one's another big one. It was so much easier for me to answer this question than it was or me to answer the one before it, about my good qualities. I can make an endless list of my faults, could I count that as a strength?
5)Being antisocial. I have more fun on my own than I do hanging out with my friends, most of the time. Wow, that sounded weird. People just tire me out when I'm around them, because it takes so much effort for me not to be socially awkward.

  • Define in your own words the following key traits:
    • Courage: The ability to throw out your preconceived notions about something, and do it anyway. Doesn't necessarily mean sacrificing your own needs (like Harry always does), just willing to do something that you've been afraid to do before. Something I don't have very much of!
    • Loyalty: Standing by your friends, your beliefs, whatever.
    • Intelligence: Required for the other three. Well, maybe not if you put "blind" in front of each term. I'm really at a loss for words with this one.
    • Ambition: The drive to do whatever it takes to reach your goal. Your passion for something. (Yeah, so I'm not so good at definitions.)
