- What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why?
Hrm, I love photography and traveling so something combining the two would be ideal. Maybe I could be a quidditch photographer, and travel all over the globe taking amazing action quiddiction photos. That's somewhat random, but I think it would work.
- If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why?
I think I would probably teach history of magic. I love history, and I think it would be great to improve upon the usually boring class with hands on lessons with reinactments or something to allow the students to better understand what they're learning about. Besides, it would make it much more interesting.
- This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not?
Actually, I don't think so. Even though I am fairly confident in myself, I would still question my ability to do something that is to that degree. It's aboslutely life or death, and that possible dying factor is rather scary.
- If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why?
I think it would probably be a cat. I can be extremely sociable when I want to be, but like cats, there are times where I just need to be by myself. Other than that, cats are fairly clean creatures, and I'm an organization nut so I think it would be fitting.
- What HP character do you identify with most and why?
I would probably say Hermione. Usually, I don't really like to do things that I'm not supposed to do, but if it were extremely necessary, I can follow through with it. I also like to succeed in the things that I do. I don't think I'm as absolutely as anal as her with my studies, but I do like to do well for myself, and I love to read.
- What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised?
I would see myself, my girlfriend completely settled with our life, and my mom would live nearby. I'm originally from Georgia, and I moved to Florida for a year to live with my girlfriend before we could both move to Georgia together. My mom and I are extremely close, and it was hard being away from her while in Florida. Now that we're here, we are doing apartment life at the moment, but I do want us to have a nice house for ourselves one day. I really miss Florida, but I love being around my mom again. So, I think eventually we'll make it back there, but hopefully my mom will follow through with those retirement plans for Florida herself. That all together would be my Erised vision.
- If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it?
Pay some bills - the move mentioned above didn't come cheap... and then once the serious things were out of the way, I would probably travel the world with my girlfriend.
- What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now?
I wanted to be a dentist as a kid, but now I really want to be a photographer. The dentist idea hasn't actually been around for quite some time. I think after middle school, it went away. I didn't know what I wanted to do for a really long time. I went into college undecided, but I think I finally realized that I can do something that pertains to my passion which is photography.
- If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it?
Well, travel spells are already covered with portkeys and apparition, so that's out. I guess I'll go with an appearance spell. You know when you have those days where no matter what you put on, or how you do your hair you just feel like crap? This particular spell would give you an instant hair makeover, and the perfect outfit for the weather that day. Think of it as less expensive therapy. I would call it "Moralifica Boostada"
- If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus?
I'm afraid of death. I've had several people very close to me die, and it scares me. I think it would probably be something like seeing my own death, and it would transition into me just being asleep and falling off the bed or something silly like that.
- What do you look for in a friend?
I want someone that gets me. We may not have all of the same interests, but we need to have at least something in common. They need to have some intelligence because I don't think I could handle hanging out with ignorant people. Being funny themselves as well as understanding when I'm being funny is essential. They need to tolerate my mood fluctuations, and handle my occasional vulgarity. Also, they need to definitely be dependable.
- What trait most annoys you about other people?
Ignorance is a definite turnoff. I know that I don't know everything about the world, but I'll admit it. Intolerance is another one. Just because something is different, that doesn't make it wrong.
- What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
good listening skills - I can sit and listen to ranting, and can usually come up with some sort of solution, or at leat comic relief to make someone feel better.
trustworthy - If I say I'm going to do something, I'm going to do it unless some freak accident occurs.
sense of humour - I'm always laughing. I laugh at myself. I laugh with others. Laughter is one of the best feelings in the world. If you can't make light of a bad situation, it's 10 times worse. If you can still be serious when you need to be, there is absolutely nothing wrong with finding humour in everything.
honesty - I hate lying. Seriously, even despite the fact that I don't have a poker face, I would never be dishonest. It's just a personal thing for me.
loyalty - I'm a very loving person. If I give my love to you, unless you are absolutely hateful to me, I will probably have a place for you forever.
- What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
laziness - I will admit, at times laziness gets the best of me.
procastination - This goes hand in hand with the laziness. I know they are both things that I need to improve upon, but they constantly plague me.
moodyness - I can sometimes be like night and day. I really try not to be, but it does happen.
easy to frustrate - Sometimes, I have a very short fuse. There are days when it's longer, but it's very unpredictable.
easily lose train of thought - A lot of times, my mind wanders. I try to reel it in, but sometimes I think my mind has it's own mind and they run away together.
