- What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why?
I would probably be in education. Nothing drives me more than reading, and learning. I would probably see it fit to be at a Wizard Education Institute, though I'd probably just end up creating my own if I feel that working at one of the exising didn't coincide with my philosophies. In fact, if I wasn't satisfied with being a teacher of older students, I would probably set up an institution where we teach younger wizards and witches, which to me is a very important step in setting up foundation of witches and wizards to begin with. The lack of such an institute actually bugs me a lot.
- If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why?
I wouldn't teach a class, I would be headmaster. I am a leader, not a follower, and I believe that my judgment is for the benefit of all students [ including, of course, the cooperation of all parties who influence the decisions of Hogwarts ]. If that is against the rules, I would probably set up an Art History/ Anthropology type class to give a round-about instruction course that shows how the wizard world has developed to what is currently is. And if creating a class is also not allowed, I'd probably settle for Charms, since it requires a quick, intelligent and creative mind and I'd love to teach students how to use theirs to their optimum. Though I'm not overwhelmingly intelligent, I do find myself kind, thoughtful, creative and approachable while teaching and I could make this type of lesson really fun and easier to handle.
- This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not?
Probably. I would love to see if I would make it and how I would perform if I could. I am not naturally a scared person, and very few things intimidate me, so I feel like I could handle it if the challenge was brought forth.
- If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why?
This is the hardest question for me, but I would probably become some sort of ape, like a chimpanzee or orangutan. I would need the use of my fingers and hands to do creative things like write, paint, and turn pages of books. Plus, I get to eat fruit.
- What HP character do you identify with most and why?
Sirius Black. If I found out that my friend was a werewolf I would be more than likely to jump on the bandwagon to become an animal in order to remain by their side when they needed me. With the circumstance of the Order of the Phoenix I would have no problem giving my home to the Order in order to benefit wizardkind, though I would also feel angered and rowdy from not having any of responsibility to the Order than to just stay inside and see no action. I would have no problem giving my life, knowledge, or encouragement to those that needed it. I feel the need to be loyal to my friends. Not only that, but our personalities are quite similar, as in being jovial and friendly, but just a little vengeful and sadistic as well.
- What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised?
Having wonderful, intelligent, creative, and kind children.
- If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it?
Um.. I'll probably just give the majority of it to various charities, particularly for third world countries suffering from drought and famine. The other portion I would use to pay off my college/graduate/and doctoral tuition fees. The rest I would save.
- What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now?
I wanted to be either an astronaut or a marine biologist growing up. If an astronaut then I would be able to travel into space, examine how beautiful the earth is, and do countless experiments on the moon and eventually set up space colonies. With being a marine biologist I would work at Sea World with Orcas (my favorite animal), and entertain and have a great bond with the animals. That's changed because I found out that I am really really bad with biology, and if there's one thing I suck at more than biology that would be math so astronaumical travel would be an impossibility for me. I'm smart, but I'm not overzealously smart (sp check that one!). My ideal job now is to be a professor of archaeology or run the Lourve Musuem in Paris as a curator. Needless to say, that I am definitely a dreamer.
- If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it?
I would create a potion that divides the mind into a three way conversation, like those old cartoons where you have the person in the middle, the good angel and the bad devil. I would feel that, as an increidably indecisive person myself, having more extreme opinions can only benefit a person when making a decision. Especially if the person is on the middle ground such as myself most of the time. I would call it Euangelusoris (you-angelus-oris) -which means "good" in the ancient greek, angel in latin and bad deed in latin.
- If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus?
I think the boggart would turn into eternal darkness. I think my only intimidating weakness is that I'm scare of complete darkness. The inability to compensate my space would just drive me wild with worry. The image of my counter-spell would probably be the moon coming out dancing and singing.
- What do you look for in a friend?
I look for kind, considerate, and interesting people. I like people who don't mind bursting out in song or dance at any given time, or being able to speak their mind. I also love intelligence and wit, but not overly so or people who feel like that trait needs to be expressed so that they may feel superior to those without. I like people who take a care in the fate of humanity, and I like people who enjoy my insane musings on theories from how the universe works to why chocolate will always be better than vanilla, my love of culture, and my absolutely horribly bad jokes. I like people who go out of their way for me, as I do for my friends countless number of times. I just like nice, down to earth people.
- What trait most annoys you about other people?
Selfishness and greed. I hate people who feel that their intelligence is a right to be snobby and a reason to think they are better than people. Same goes for people with money. I hate people who are closed-minded and never give anything new a chance. I hate people who judge a persons worth by the way they look, or their social situation, or their grades. I hate it when people feel that their friendship, and love, lasts with conditions [ such as, you do this for me, and i'll do this for you... type of friendships ].
- What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
-i read into everything. nothing escapes my observation.
-i exceedingly friendly, and once a friend, I will definitely do all in my power to ensure my friends happiness.
-i have a great sense of humour, and I'll laugh at anything or be amused, even if it's really trivial or mundane. I'm very quirky like that.
-i am fairly accurate in my observations, and if not, then I am able to justify my reasoning with lots of evidence [ this accuracy can also be entailed with physical use like driving, and sportsman conduct (i.e. basketball, archery, soccor, etc. )
-i'm really, really abnormally efficient
- What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
-i volunteer myself for things that I know will put my own life on delay [ like, i'll drive a friend somewhere, even though it means being late to work or class. or i'll do most of the work on a project by myself so it won't stress out the others in the group ]
-i am pretty aggressive and tend to turn into a smart alleck if things don't go my way
-i procrastinate.. . a lot. I think I have some ambition but if it comes to doing fun things over serious-need-based things, I'm more likely to spend more than enough time doing fun things! agh.
-i absolutely hate being a follower and will do everything in my power to prevent that, including getting into trouble
-i have this wonderful ability at being extremely klutzy
