  • What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why?
Since I like history, I would like to be a teacher defiantly. I like thinking about how I could change the minds of people, let them learn and go into the world of something completely new.

  • If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why?
History. I think you learn a lot from the past to make the future. If we didn't take down what happened in history, we wouldn't know when things were like back then. If we also didn't take history, we wouldn't have records of good and bad things in our lives.

  • This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not?
Hmm...Not really. Sure being a hero is glamorous and all, but why throw away life when you can life it fufillingly? I'd rather be remembered for being clever and brave, not stupid. Not saying those who try are stupid...I just wouldn't do it at all.

  • If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why?
A panther. They're very majestic and silent creatures, but very dangerous as well. They also seem to have better senses of what is around them. Although the hunting prey thought makes me a little sad, I'd like the thrill of it.

  • If you could be written into any HP Series book as a new character, which book would it be, and who would your character be? Why did you choose that book/character? I would be in the fifth book definantly and my character would be a silent girl named Rose. I chose the fifth book because it seems like that's when a lot of the explanations finally happen. Besides, I'd like to do something to that horrible woman Umbridge. Rose is a character that I think has a hiding personality that is waiting to be found. She kind of has that "Getoutofmyface" attitude going for her which kind of may alienate some people, but also attract them.

  • What is your favorite magical spell/charm? Why?
I'm a pyro...and beyond obsessed with fire. Elemental charms are more helpful when fighting someone. But that's just my opinion. The spell that is my favorite is the one Hermoine casted on Snape in the first book. Fire can be extremely handy. Especially when you're trapped around a man-eating plant or something.

  • Name three reasons why you would like to be sorted into each House.
Gryffindor: Well, it seems many of the brave and intrepid people tend to be sorted into that group, and I'd like to be more couragous! They also stick up for their friends, but let their friends know when they're in the wrong and try to help them.
Hufflepuff: I guess they're kind people. Very very determined too...This is all I can list about Hufflepuff since I don't know much about them. Maybe that's a good quality they have. Able to hide their personalities?
Slytherin: Although they seem to be complete misanthropes to me, I think they have a strong bond they hold for eachother. Kind of All for One and One For All kind of motto. Slytherins also probably have a lot more fun (EVEN THOUGH IT MAY BE ILLEGAL)
Ravenclaw: People in Ravenclaw tend to think before they leap, which is a good quality. Also it's fun to talk to people who want to hold an intelligent conversation instead of

  • You've received your O.W.L results. What are your results? (You have to have failed or done poorly in at least one subject)
Well, I'm not good with Math and that sort so I may have done Poorly on Potions (Snape seems pretty mean as well. Probably wouldn't like him as a teacher. It's just to me, if you can't form a bond with the teacher, you're going to do badly because you don't know what that teacher wants.)
Outstanding on History of Magic: I love history. I'd work extra hard on this class to pass. Even if the teacher is boring, I'd go on my own time and learn the information myself.
A on Transfiguration: I'm not really that good with memorizing spells. I'd probably forget to study for this class a lot. Changing something's shape really isn't an important skill I need.
Outstanding on Herbology: Nature is the best! Working with plants is just something to me that feels like a spiritual connection between Man and Nature. Hell I feel like a regular Transcedentalist! There's also no studying involved for this course.
Exceeding Expectations on Charms: It's not that much to memorize. It's just what position you have to wave your wand and what spell to say. Sure there's a lot of practice involved, but that is something everyone has to do.
A on Divination: Ok...So the woman who teaches it is a tad looney. Knowing how to read and divine into the future is a good skill however. You could prevent a lot from happening and knowing what courses you're able to take to avoid this this and this.
Exceeding Expectations on Care for Magical Creatures: Same as herbology! Communing with nature or creatures is fantastic. The whole big and sharp clawed creatures are a bit of a letdown...But you have to learn to deal with all sorts of creatures right? Even ones that could rip you limb from limb.
D on Defense Against the Dark Arts: Ok I don't like studying about defense in a book. I like more hands on defense. Besides I'd probably go too fast for my classmates!

  • If you could have any superpower - but only ONE - what would it be?
When we think of superpowers we think of flying or being super strong. Or sometimes even super rubbery? Me I'd like the ability to know how I can change something. The ability of Forsight (or reading into the future). I would know what path my life(or someone else's) could take and try to change it from a bad one to a good one.

  • What HP character do you identify with most and why?
Luna Lovegood. She is made fun of, scoffed, and insulted. People don't tend to listen to me either and try to hurt my feelings for no reason. But Luna is so strong and is able to take it unlike I can.

  • What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised?
Everyone I know happy...Nothing to make them sad anymore. Also I'd probably see World Peace. There's just a big dream I have of having everything peaceful...No more discrimination no more fighting no more bloodshed! Besides if the Muggle World had no peace, that would affect us in many ways. If the muggles made bombs that destroyed the world we'd be destroyed too!

  • If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it?
Paying off all the debts my family owe and a surgery for my dad. The rest I'd spend on presents and trinkets for friends. I would probably spend about...5,000 on myself and about....$95,000 on my family and friends.

  • Which HP book is your favorite and why?
The fourth book just...puts so much emotion. It just puts so much action into the story and leaves you just stuck into the world. It was also a big turning point in the story, and also had some entertainning moments!

  • Which HP book is your least favorite and why?
Second. I think it just was forced. She didn't put any life or energy into it at all, but that's just my opinion. To me, it just seemed to be a big Speed Bump in the road of the story.

  • What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now?My ideal job...I didn't have one but being a photographer. It has changed definantly, but I still love photography. My ideal Job is either programming computers/making video games/ or being an actress. Computers are interesting and very useful while making video games are just like playing them! But being an actress! That's just like putting on a mask and being someone else. If you could be someone else for a day, that's what being an actor/actress is like in my opinion.

  • If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it?
I would have a potion that made you happier for a period of time. People like me who change moods so fast and get completely depressed at the drop of a hat need something to keep them in an upbeat mood. It wouldn't be overly happy but a content kind of happy. I would call it Faries Kiss.

  • If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus?
It would turn into a huge clown that had razor sharp teeth and bright rainbow hair. I'm petrified of clowns because of an incident when I was 6....It turns into a jack-in-the-box with a monkey with X eyes.

  • What do you look for in a friend?
Someone trusting! Truthful and loyal. I also want someone who doesn't spend their time gossipping about other people and are only concerned with their own life (unless a friend was in trouble of course!) Also someone who just isn't a zombie. Make some choices for themselves while knowing their mistakes as well.

  • What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish?
Knowing who I truly am and being able to get over the hurdles of life. It seems when I try to accomplish something, someone is always pushing me down. (Someone being a personification of something else). I just want to get over the hardships of my life and walk away strong.

  • What trait most annoys you about other people?
Pettyness and immaturity. Those type of people just are a waste of life and breath. They just want attention because they know they can't get it any other way. People who also are undesicive about themselves. They need to learn how to stand up and say their mind before someone else decides for them.

  • What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
Typing: I can type pretty fast and pretty grammically correct. I take pride in the fact I say "you" instead of "u" or "j00". It's also better to know how to use the latest technology.
Writing: The way to express yourself! Sure Art is another way of expressing yourself, but writing is coming deep from your soul. Your hand writes the words that your heart screams aloud to your mind.
Music: Hey you need to know the speak of everything! Everything is music! Talking, the sound of birds chirrping. All of is music. To know and grasp this is simple knowledge but very intricate. I think it's better know how to touch the souls of other's through the tune of the earth though.
Being kind: Ok even though I try to be mean, I like to help other's. If you see someone struggling with someone and you help them, you get a good feeling about yourself. Karma also plays a large role. If you're a good person, good things come to you definantly.
Cynical: Ok so you need to be mean for people to get what you say. Being sarcastic isn't always mean! I could have some humor into my sarcasim. But that depends on what situation you put me into. Besides, it's a good way to verbally defend yourself.

  • What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
Too gullible: Ok I do believe everything you say. Well not everything. If you make it really sincere sounding, I may believe it. This could definantly lead to my downfall quickly.
Not good at schoolwork: I'm lazy. Hey almost everybody is! If I see no point in to work hard for something, I don't work hard. But if I'm pushed and pushed I do it...Ok a little reluctantly but hey oh well!
Paranoid: I'm afraid that people are hating me when they're not. I just...Want people to accept me, not to hate me. It just makes me feel empty when I know nobody likes me. I'm also afraid that this or this will happen if I do this.
Bi-Polar: My moods change faster than a second. I cannot help the fact that I'm happy one minute and depressed the next. The littlest thing could set me off, and that's why I'm trying to work on it.
Head-Strong: I'm a little stubborn. Ok a lot stubborn. If I get my grip onto something, I DON'T LET GO. I also won't accept help for anything. I think hey I can do it myself I'm able, when sometimes I'm not. And that usually leads me to getting over my head.

  • Define in your own words the following key traits:
    • Courage: The ability to do something that you're afraid to do. Unless it's something stupid. I mean facing your fear and looking it in the eye is something brave
    • Loyalty: Being able to stick to your convictions and your friends, without being easily swayed
    • Intelligence: Knowing common sense! Test scores and books don't tell you intelligence. Everyone is intelligent. Some just choose not to use it.
    • Ambition: The force that drives you to be great, be strong!

  • Name: Rena
  • Age: 15
  • What house do you think DOESN'T fit you? (This question is optional for those who feel they just DO NOT fit in a house. Please explain WHY.)
Hufflepuff. I'm not determined enough. They seem like hard workers and I'm just..lazy. I also don't seem very optimistic (sorry, a big common trait of most of the Hufflepuffs from the books in my interpretation had a LOT of optimisim)
  • Where did you find out about us? A friend of mine told me and I wanted to join.

sorted: hufflepuff, term iv
