Let's see: the characters you want to identify with seem to point a number of directions, but practical Hufflepuff in the end for those wanting to help.
The moment most meaningful - Harry's nobility in preserving Pettigrew's life - seems more Gryffindor though.
Erised - Hufflepuff or possibly Slytherin with what you want and what you'd do
Patronus and Forbidden Forest: I could see a little Hufflepuff in terms of family loyalty but am not sure that would make things right... and Forbidden Forest seems like Hufflepuff practicality too.
Ideal job: practicality and not much self motivation is probably a better fit for Hufflepuff than the others.
Decision making really feels like Hufflepuff too... and your view on travel is somehow a Hufflepuff defense of that as well!
Not wanting to be seen as dishonest/false/deceptive is Hufflepuff values, as is the hardest thing you ever did (in supporting your family).
For morality, I'm not sure where that fits but can make a case for Gryffindor or Hufflepuff; for the way you make friends, that's definitely Hufflepuff too.
For house traits, "anything but Ravenclaw, but probably more Hufflepuff than anything else". And your top strengths and weaknesses? Stubbornness is a defining trait, yes, but I'm seeing a lot of Hufflepuff with bits of Gryffindor and Ravenclaw thrown in.
All this together puts you in Hufflepuff; welcome to HiH!
