Yawn! My eyes are tired I have been hunched over a sewing machine/craft table/art desk for hours.
Today was a very creative day. After deciding that I wasn't going to participate in the obnoxious Christmas gift giving experience I got a bug up some orifice and started making my sisters books tonight. I finished one and it is delightful, all black velvet and gold tissue. She can write in it all the little witticisms that flow naturally from her, as she goes about her daily life...or throw it in the bookshelf and never look at it.
Never the less I will have done my part to make the holiday season a caring sharing time (caring IS sharing), and one that doesn't involve yet another crochet covered coat hanger or card with the obligatory 1 dollar in it. (Thank you Gran!) :)
Tried to do a lj cut of a new story but I'll be dagnabitted if I can get it to work...grumble!
