(no subject)
Okay so I havent updated in a really long time but basically I just got back from florida...yesterday.
Blair, me and trish left on the 31st in the morning for the amtrak which was 29 long grueling hours. but it was worth it cuz florida kicked fucking ass. between key west and west palm beach it was a total culture shock, besides them being totally different from long island they were polar opposites themselves. We stayed at palm beach the first day we got to florida the next morning we took a quick swim in the pool then left for the like five-hour trip to key west, we got there and ended up staying at an amazing hotel, the southern most hotel in the united states, basically, 3 pools, a private beach, all of key west was like three sq. miles so obv the hotel was walking distance. so we staid in key west for three days., consisting of lots of drinking, shopping, swimming, tanning, and did I mention drinking? I think we were drinking like every other day on average so it was pretty much amazing. but key west was amazing cuz it was like this adorable little town with gorgeous scenery and practically no big businesses just tiny tourist shops and lots of gay people. we also went on a sunset cruise which was totally cool, esspecially since we got free drinks.
so after key west we headed back to west palm and the condo. Alex also spends spring break in florida and his apartment building is like 20 minutes away from ours so we all met up at this area in palm beach called city place which is like a really big really expensive tanger mall. We walked around for a while then went to see grindhouse for Alex and Blair's birthday. Grindhouse was realllllly good btw, and totally disgusting which usually isnt my thing but I dunno it was just good. def. see it.um then we went to this mini fair thing in some area of palm beach and we chilled there for a couple of hours. the next few days was just a series of drinking and going to the beach.
we flew back tuesday night which was the first time Ive ever been on a plane and it was cool except for the massive air pressure which gave me intense pain in my ears for like an hour. and then I was deaf until this morning.
basically best vacation of my life.
Im really not excited to go back to school but w/e
