Whoo. So last I left you I'd found a terrible hotel and booked tickets out of here. We leave tomorrow for Macau, but these days in Shanghai have been brilliant.
We went to the Shanghai museum which had tons of great Chinese art and furniture and history, etc. We wound up eating at an all you can eat Sushi place (with surprisingly good Sushi), an all you can eat Brazillian steak house (Oh how I miss Asados), a Shanghai restaurant, and a subway. A Subway!! We sat in bars in fancy areas listening to live blues, and in bars with an Ecuadorian DJ spinning the latest Reggaeton hits. We drank Chinese made Scotch whiskey with a dude from Israel. What an amazing city. Next time I come to China I'll be living here.
Well. Heres hoping we don't die this trip, Macau and Hong Kong hostels are still completely up in the air. Oh lord.
