oh Man.
So here we are in Shanghai, and it is unbelievable.
There are no hotels that take foreigners for under $40 per night (American!), no trains out of here for the next eight days. No travel agencies are picking up their phones so we can't book hotels in other places should we even manage to get there, no one knows how to buy bus tickets, and airplane tickets are more expensive than in America.
We, my friends, may be in trouble.
Last night we stayed at the friend of a classmate of the tour guide who was with Lucia's group in Chengdu's house. It was fine. Now we've wasted all day today getting "Meiyou"ed and not being able to accomplish anything.
Good God I hope something starts to go our way, cos this is ludicrous.
