Something I wrote in English that I kinda liked...
A few days ago I was watching television when a car commercial aired. This is not surprising at all. What is surprising, however, is that about thirty seconds later, with only one commercial inbetween, the same car commercial aired again. I thought, "Is the human attention span that short, that we are expected to have already forgotten what happened half a minute ago?" If this is the case, it is a wonder the human race is able to remember where it left the remote control.
