my new journal!
Yay, I took some pictures of the journal I made this afternoon!
The cover is a page from a magazine. I didn't want to use fabric because I want to be able to add to it and collage over it. The page I used is an ad for Havaianas, and I sort of hate that it's all commercial like that, but at least you can't really tell from the front.
This is the back cover. The part that actually says Havaianas will be the first bit that gets covered up when I have something to add! Heheh.

The endpapers are stripey scrapbooking paper.
The pages are made of all different kinds of paper. I figured since this is meant to be a visual journal it would be fun to throw some different stuff in there and make it look really awesome.
Now here's some of random pages so you can see the kinds of paper I used...
Pinstriped paper and purple looseleaf. There's a few pages of pinstripes in there in various colors.
Graph paper and yellow construction paper. I think there's construction paper in there in light blue, pink, and yellow.
Green looseleaf and tea-stained "old" paper that I apparently made a long time ago.
There's also a fair amount of plain white paper and some plain light green paper, in addition to more of everything I mentioned above. There's 60 sheets in all.
