Okay, so for a brief background, for my Color Theory class we have this project called "My Big Little Book of Color" where we have to do 8 color studies and make them into a book or some sort of cohesive thing (so you need to have some concept connecting them all).

Each color study is representing a word, and those are given to us. Each one also has to use some sort of specific color scheme too (like analogous, monochromatic, etc). Those are given too but it doesn't matter which words you use with which type of color scheme.

The first two we had to do were dynamic and fresh, so here's what I came up with!





My theme is going to be quilt-type patterns - hopefully that much is obvious. I think that should work well as a way for me to play with different patterns to represent different words but still have a lot of flexibility. And my professor seemed to like it and I overheard another girl in my class saying it caught her eye too. Yay!
