(no subject)
GADZOOKS.
I don't really have too much to say. But I sort of felt like updating.
Today was my last day working with Nora and yesterday was my last day working with Danielle. SAD. And next weekend is going to be sooo sad without them. Plus I'm afraid I'll get slammed with hours. We've hired a few newbies though so maybe it'll fall on them. I'm really hoping that I'll get to work with Daniel at some point, as he is quite awesome but I never get to see him.
Today I picked up a few random things, including Maroon 5's photo book thing. OMG it was so good. I forget the photographer's name off the top of my head but he is amazing. I think I would have enjoyed the book even if it was a band I didn't know. And so now I'm really wanting to take photos of something. But first something interesting needs to happen in my life.
I want to have Bonnaroo again and take more/better pictures this time.
Plus 5 billion other things that I would change if I could do it over. Yeah.
For some reason I'm feeling very...I don't know what, very optimistic about how I'm going to use my time. I feel like I'm so excited to be done with the weekend and have free time. I have a great idea for a project that I might start. Or I might just finish a few other things that are sitting around waiting for the final touches.
Been working on a lot of icons lately so I should have a bunch to post soon. I'm also feeling very writey lately, so there's a possibility that I might write something good enough to bother posting in here. Haha. Oh man, I wrote the most amazing song in a dream last night but of course couldn't remember any of it when I woke up. Arrggh.
I need to learn some good card tricks.
Oh, and since I haven't updated about books in a while...I read the first two books in the Midnighters series which were omg so good, then I finally reread HBP, and then it was DH time. Since then I've read Special Topics in Calamity Physics which was very good at the beginning. Towards the end it wasn't as good, but overall it was still quite good. Once again I'm sure I've forgotten quite a few things, but unless I remember them that will leave the total for the year at 20. Uhhh yeah. Haha. And summer's almost over. This is pretty damn weak, y'all.
