EEEE.
I just presented my latest net art piece in class and it seemed pretty well-liked.
The idea for the assignment was that it had to be inspired by some other net art piece, you had to borrow something sort of. And my teacher told me that she talked to one of the artists mine is based on and told her that I was doing the piece and she told my teacher to tell me to send it to her! Yay! I'm kinda embarrassed since mine of course isn't as awesome as hers, but it's still cool that she wants to see it. WHEE.
Edit: Oh, and I forgot to mention...I saw one of my posters today! Back in February in imaging we made posters for an event that was supposed to happen on Valentine's day and the best one would get put up around campus. They liked them all so much they decided to pick 5, and then they decided to just use them all. So I saw a few of them around but never saw mine. It seemed like I kept seeing a certain few over and over, and they were the best ones, so I started to suspect that they did pick just a few after all. Anyway, the event got canceled because of the huge snow storm and it was rescheduled for April 21st apparently so they put the posters back up with a sticker on them to change the date. And I saw a couple but still didn't see mine (or my friend Corey's) so I still figured they weren't using them all. But then today...I found one! I'm super psyched. That makes me so happy. Now if only I could find Corey's somewhere....
