See, fate is one of the mysteries of the universe. You may believe in it, but you won't ever find out if it truly exists due to the lack of traveling back to the past.
As for me, I used to believe in fate, but I don't believe in it anymore. I just see fate existing for the sole purpose of someone not taking responsibility for his/her actions. Besides I am a "what if" person. I ponder continously, "what if" i did this different..blah blah blah. If I believed in fate, I wouldn't be saying that right because everything is destined to happen. I think that some people use fate as an excuse, for example, a couple breaking up would say "it wasn't just meant to be." That's just what I believe.
I view fate as unchangeable. I really think that we make decisions in our lives and it is either going to be rewarding or punishing. I don't really see the purpose of believing in fate, you know? We don't know when we are going to die, but we will eventually die; yet, we should live life to the fullest. So yeah, I really don't believe in fate anymore.
I believe in reincarnation, but I believe that it is based on good deeds. That only if you do good deeds in this life, you will be allowed to be reborn again.
