she does not look at the camera, she plays in the light pouring in from the window. The chairs are not neatly arranged they pose some kind of wall that wanders through the middle of the living room... a wall of the every day, a river of chairs that catch the light the way that water catches light. The clutter continues in the dark, on the table some random things my camera bag a cask of wine some other garbage whatever was really there. These things are not distractions they are the essence of the unessential. And above it all, leaning in over the light a plastic christmas tree dangles its humble spangles of red. this is my christmas. Its too big to fit on your fucking greeting cards.
