I can't believe how awesome this summer is so far.
My body is happily tired from biking all over the place. I've been walking around my neighbourhood, seeing my friends on their front porches and stopping by to hang out. I feel like the suburbs of Vancouver are a strange paradise full of beautiful houses and gardens, and tall trees on the boulevards.
I have this boy in Australia who turned out to be a real sweetheart, and I am vaguely planning to visit him within the next year or so, if I can. Maybe I'll get a work permit and stay there for a while.
I found someone to move in as another roommate, and she seems really cool.
In keeping with the idea that I never really have everything I need at once - I need a job! And soon, money. But I've been applying, and I'm pretty optimistic. I just don't really like that doubtfulness.
And most of all, I have fantastic friends. You guys are awesome!
