Ok. Last was was fun. More fun than was anticipating, that's for sure.
The day started off awful. I felt like shit early in the day, and work abnormally long (of course). Then Nobody was around, and I started freaking about. But , Jesse finally showed up, and we headed out. And after a few sprays of Chloroseptic, some "Satring At The Sea" on the CD player, and alot of Jack & Cokes on the car ride to LA, and I was feeling a hell of a lot better. By the time we got to the club, I was in a good mood.
The show itself went fairly well, although I was completely unhappy with my drumming (mainly because I was playing on a different kit, which was falling apart the entire time I was playing it). But overall, it was cool, and peole seemed to dig it.
Speaking of which: it was so nice seeing Casey, Kristin, Stephanie, Jason, Adrian, Noel, and everybody else there who I haven't seen in a while. I forget how many people that I really like and care about are no longer apart of my day-to-day life...I need to see these people more often...
After the show we went to Canter's Deli, where Jesse, Ann Marie, Jim, Sara, Sam, and I hung out and ate greasy Jewish deli food, laughed, and saw herds of LA hipsters with matching greasy shag haircuts, tight thrift-store jeans, and heroin addictions.
And the best news; today I woke, and felt 100,000% better! My throat is still a bit scratchy, but otherwise, I'm fine. Now to get out of work and start my weekend...
