I just watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I feel like I could cry buckets of tears right now. I am completely and thoroughly disturbed by the morbidity of this movie. I have never thought about a person's life starting at the end and ending at the beginning. Having seen a possible outcome, I can believe that simplicity is something to be treasured. Death scares me, but other possibilities scare me more. Death is familiar -- what we are all taught to accept as our ultimate fate. I am glad that my mind cannot comprehend much further than this.
