supernovae.............
if your interested in human life................
In the past 1000 years there have only been 5 supernovae seen by mans unaided eye. A supernovae happens when a star dies, in the night sky a supernovae can be seen where no other star has ever been seen before. We use these explosions to map out the history/expanion of our universe, this is an example, "A martian is presented with a snapshot of a forest and must determine the life cycle of a tree, how it sprouts, matures, dies, and decays on the forest floor. He must also study and classify all the diffrent organisms in to diffrent categories." Now we know whats out there to a certain point the point at which all signals are lost and all vision is distorted, even then it is not clear what is at this point, further more what is beyond this point of unimaginable distance. We will never know this, which bring me back to earth.
Our Sun, Our Soul, Our Heart, Our Ultimatley fiery doom, has every possiblility to become a Supernovae. A supernovae has enough energy to send a signal past our known "point of no return". This force is so strong that it packs its left overs into a piece of matter know as a Neutron Star so tightly together that a piece of this star the size of a match box weighs a billion tons. This star is left spinning at about 30 revolutions per second for billions of years. A black hole is also created, this is when the collapsing star reaches critical density greater then what can be sustained in our universe, this black hole has such a strong gravitational pull that not even light exscapes it. It has been said that a black hole may lead to another galaxy or perhaps shortcuts through space.
But what then, a shortcut to where? what is out there? say you had a spacecraft that could fly forever and you could live forever, eventually you have to stop or hit something. Is the universe just a spec in a molecule of grass stuck on the bottom of a boot of a higher being? is our universe a marble in a bag of marbles? Are we just a flake of dust sitting in the corner of someones home? THERE IS NO ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION. and if you have the mind that i have, this question "what is beyond our universe?" should frustrate you and lead you to incredible dreams and facinations that you cant even comprehend!
