Photo outing
Took another jaunt to Lake Johnson park today, got a bit warm hiking around. Got roughly 2.5 rolls of pictures taken, we'll see how well they turn out.
Scared a few years off my life when the camera (an SLR that was made in 1985) fell off the cheap-ass tripod I was using because the clamp lost its grip. Nothing busted, thank any gods you care to name.
Batteries died near the end of my first roll, had to go home and change them. Luckily, that involved roughly 5 minutes' drive.
Found a lovely little natural stone-step waterfall area a bit off the main paved paths that looks like a marvelous meditation spot. Tried taking a really-long-exposure shot of it, we'll see how that worked (knowing my luck I just horrifically overexposed that frame of film).
