pi day
my birthday was yesterday. everything was going wrong. i had to work until 930 by myself, customers were driving me nuts, and the flippin scanner kept beeping loudly. someone was nice enough to let me leave at 830 though so i could have dinner with todd. got home and opened my present from him (trivial pursuit pop culture 2, tulips, a balloon, and reese and kit kat bites!) then we left to try to find somewhere to eat. there's only one place in nashville that is open past 10 pm, but we didnt know that. so we're driving around for like an hour trying to find a place and finally end up going to mafiaso's. the place is blowing up, line out the door. wait in line for 20 minutes and finally get to the front, ask the huge bouncer guy if we have to wait in line for a table too and he informs us that we have to put our name in but it'll be a 2 hour wait. fuck that. we end up going to ihop, but the first one is not open 24 hours (liars) so we go to another one and finally eat around midnight. we then meet up with his friends at a bar. watched some entertaining drama unfold with this absolutely crazy drunk girl who was yelling that she was a communist and her friend who was threatening to beat up tony. had myself a tall woodchuck that kept magically refilling and finally came home. it was definitely interesting. i can't wait to go home this weekend!
