Lauren and I are moving into a beautiful home on S. Park Avenue in Historic Sanford next week. We're going to be living with Emily and Gilley too. It was built in 1920. It's a faded blue color on the outside. A friendly Hispanic man named Bobby lives upstairs. It's on a brick road minutes away from a large wooden playground and tons of rundown office buildings that will be nice to photograph. The front bedroom has three large windows that flood the room with light. The closet doors are glass The living room is filled with cabinets and closets and space for all of our wonderful things. All the door knobs are old bronze and glass that resemble oversized diamonds. The second bedroom, which will probably belong to me, has two entrances. One from the living room and one from the kitchen. There is also a broken fire place on the floor. Gilley stole some fake logs for me. We're all going to have to share one bathroom, which isn't so bad. We're all used to that. Emily's room is a little smaller than the other two bed rooms. It has a door leading to the back yard which is also kind of the neighbors front yard. We have a gas stove; that scares me. Once at Frankie's old house we left the gas on all night and woke up feeling extra silly as we sat in the living room, a few feet away from the kitchen, lighting joints. I don't know how we didn't explode. The whole house has dark wood floors and beige walls. It's really a quite perfect house.
Lauren and I have been through so much. I'm glad we've overcome all of our problems and are still good friends. I'm so excited to live with her. I think she's one of the few people that can help me make my life into what I've been craving. I hope that she can help me refill my life with beauty and friendship and love and fascination and glamour and imagination. Less than a week and my life will be totally different. I opened a fortune cookie last week that said, " A new environment will make all the difference." I'm hopeful. :]
