Ha ha my life is finally becoming interesting! I've been going to the DDC alot more, and thus on Sat I went to the beach afterwards with my Japanese mates. The 3 girls spent half an hour choosing which body boards to buy (I had already purchased a cheap yellow one) and finally we got to the back beach where the waves were thumping. I hadn't been for a while so I was a intimidated and pretty paranoid of the larger waves, the ones as tall as myself. Anyway Natsuko and the other girl whoms name I can't remember, went out after half an hour, too many wipeouts. Although Rika was a lot better, I'd be judging the waves and when I saw huge ones coming I'd be yelling "swim towards it!" but she would just leisurely kick towards it, thus getting dumped as the wave broke. But in the end we got some waves in and it was a nice afternoon at the beach :) I'm going to a party at the backpackers tomorrow night! w00t!
