Apple seems to have fired a shot across IE's bow...

I just installed the latest update of itunes, and being a bit absent minded lately, forgot to make sure to uncheck choices for not installing extra crap on my machine. Besides, itunes usually insists on quicktime, but doesn't try other sleazy things.
Well this time there was one of those aformentioned "bonuses", apple safari for PC.
hmm...well well well...apple is pushing thier internet explorer to us PCer's eh?
I'll bet this is an attempt to break PCers who use PC as force of habit and familiarity of look/interface with Macs. yes?
Strange how Apple has managed to produce a techonology that seems to have escaped the scrutiny and paranoia of spyware, malware, adware, and just crappy programming, that I when I saw safari had been thrust upon me, I was only briefly upset. I'm even thinking about keeping the thing. Though now I've got three internet browers, which is kind of stupid, so safari may have a very brief (and by brief I mean like 24 hours) stay on my pc.
