Elegee and SM centerpoint
I woke up pretty early today, around 8am to accompany a friend of mine to Elegee guitars in Sta. Mesa. Elegee guitars is a guitar shop located right behind SM centerpoint. So my friend and I met up in the Cubao LRT 2 station. Dropped by J.ruiz [bad idea it would have been better if we went down in V.Mapa but oh well] and took a trike to Elegee guitars. The owner and luthier Sir John, wasnt home when we arrived so we had to leave his bass in the shop and go to SM for lunch and to pass the time.
Played around in quantum for a bit. I managed to test out tekken 6 in relative safety since there werent any hardcore tekken 6 gamers in SM centerpoint at the time .[thank god else I would have been creamed royally hahaha] by 12 we went back to Elegee guitars and Sir John was already there. We then proceeded to watch him put my friends bass back into shape. I can't describe everything that sir John did, but among them was adjusting the neck, fixing the electronics, changing the strings, cleaning the fretboard, sculpting the nut etc.
The end result, A damn fine bass guitar.
