I have figured out Tumblr, somewhat
Not that I have much time for such things (it eats up time)... but there you go. It's a cross between the old days of LJ (fewer quizzes and drama though) and Pinterest, as far as I can tell. No ability to filter though, which I miss. Functionally, it is the same as LJ except it is actually populated.

Social media and internet stuff in general is challenging, too many people I care about in too many different horribly time-sucking places these days.
I am perhaps most religious with twitter. It is fantastic for cutting-edge news. Great place to follow reporters.
