i am starting to get the Regina thing, though. i simply think she is not as lyrics-focused as Tori, Aimee, Ani, etc... she is really popular in New york city. ya hear about her everywhere you go!
Alicia Keys oh god lol. She's pretty overrated herself. Her lyrics are mainstream and she doesn't even have an amazing voice nor one that sticks out. Not to mention for a long time everone saw her as a goddess behind the piano- when she looks look minimal compared to so many others like Fiona, Charlotte and even Vienna are better than her.
Her fashion is terrible too- that's not important but still ugh.
