Hey, first-time poster and...I will probably wind up lurking from here on out (because I love nature), but I was pointed here because I happened to find a mystery plant

All I've got for you is that it's a lily, although it does look very familiar. You're doing better than I am guessing Asiatic or Siroi. I'm sure someone will have a better answer for you, though. People are usually pretty good on this comm. Luck!
You might want to add the location of the flower to the post. And be careful picking flowers in the future. Sometimes they look innocuous but are toxic.
The only thing I can suggest is that it may be a variety of Day lily, rather than a proper lily - the Day Lily has long strap-like leaves coming from the base instead of hundreds of tiny leaves all the way up the stem...just a thought !!
I thought the leaves looked odd for a lily. I just didn't know if that was because it was a young plant or some mutation/hybrid or what. I don't think I've ever seen a day lily's leaves before, so that would be why it didn't occur to me.
Y'know, it kinda reminds me of lilies I've seen on sale by Roberta Cottage Farms via QVC: check these search results. Not that any of these are your flower, but these remind me of it.
