last night at the spitz was great. it all turned out peachy. all the acts were great. mistys were there already when i turned up at six. Six seemed to be the theme. They were all there at six and that day they had done a session on six radio! Ha, ha! Er....yeah. There were all in perky form and we ended up having two drumkits as mistys brought one with them. i went on first and went down well. tom from david cronenberg's wife tells me there were middle-aged women at the back chortling away..which is nice. i got my 2nd encore of my career....cor, an encore...cor. the loners announced they'd changed their name to let's wrestle on stage and were most punksome. their set dipped a little in the middle but wez has a great rock 'n' roll voice and for 14 year olds they are amazing. dcw were truly wondrous as usual. tom is deffo more confident on stage as the years go by and is truly a star in the making. i couldn't really pay too much attention to all the acts...as i was "on duty"...which was a shame as i couldn't soak up all the good stuff...but hey, it was cool anyway. brains and virgin were rockin'....virgin was on most wonderous form....looking like a 13 yr old public schoolboy on acid....get yer tits out was monumental. mistys met their usual high standards....a great night all told...a lovely lady Lourda who's mistys agent asked for my details as she was impressed with the bill. i had three beers and a bit of whisky...so i was pretty mashed by the end...but who cares when i didn't have to get up early today.
