Bit of humor
A customer who must know children was in my line one day as a child, I'd say maybe five years old, tore past us, heading to WKids, the babysitting service we offer. The man looked at the kid appraisingly and remarked, "Someone better get that kid another cup of coffee!". Chortles all around.
Another customer placed a sixpack of hard cider on the conveyor. I noticed its brand name, Woodchuck, and joked, "I'm not sure I'd want to drink something made from woodchucks". He replied, "They milk them. You have to have really tiny hands to do it." OMG, I laughed.
