A baby came through my line yesterday with her mom, and the baby was wearing a sweater knitted in a version of the honeycomb stitch I'm using on the church-lady baby blanket I'm knitting. Neat.
I wish the darn weather would clear up a bit. A friend/customer has been waiting for me to replace the socket of a light in the ground for him ever since last Thursday. Between sewing Em's dress, working, and the wobbly weather, I haven't been able to do it. Even today, the weather report said no precip, well guess what folks, it's already rained once and it looks like it'll do it again.
I'm bad about eating fruit. Lately, though, the strawberries have looked fabulous and customers told me they tasted great too. So I got some, plus angel food cake to slice them over, with a bit of fat-free whipped cream. Trouble is, I almost never eat dessert after dinner at night. Hah. I've taken to eating it mid-morning, after breakfast and before going to work. Getting the fruity benefits and who cares about the rest of the stuff - I'll burn it up on the job. :)
