Emily had a friend over yesterday to help clean her room before painting it. Giggles galore and they got the job done, I believe. Today they'll start the painting itself. I'm excited for Em; this is something she's wanted to do for a while. The colors she chose are fabulous: fuschia and orange. Powerful.
While the girls were hanging out in the living room, a female hummingbird came by. She drank at all three spouts of the feeder, then actually perched at one and sipped repeatedly. Just now, this morning, she did the same thing. Entrancing. I'd love to get pics, but for now I'm happy to be here when she visits.
I've been debating whether I want to re-up at the gym I go to, when my membership comes due next month. There are pros and cons, but ultimately I decided to stay there. The main reason is not the staff or the facilities, but the other women. Many women who shop at Wegmans go there - it's nice to have that connection - as well as a few of my coworkers. Additionally, there are women who work out there whom I don't consider to be friends, but we say hello, we chat, we pat each other verbally on the back.
