We watched Twilight:Eclipse last night, the four of us. Much hilarity ensued. Especially with the assistance of Rifftrax.
I kept looking at Jasper's hair in the first scene he's in, and saying to myself, something looks so familiar about this. Finally it hit me. It's Donna Reed's hairstyle from the sixties! Go look it up; I'll wait here.
::Waits:: So, you're back. See what I mean? I think it's funny.
Jasper's character also provided humor in that sometimes his hair looks like Harpo Marx (especially in the two previous films). So when Rifftrax announces that he's going off to find joke horns (Harpo used to carry one around and honk it instead of speaking), my beloved husband and I, from either side of the room, made "Furrr, furrr" noises like a clown's horn. Absolutely dead-on simultaneously. Dear God, you know you've been living with someone a loooooong time when that happens!
One other bit of humor: during the absolute deathmatch between the two opposing groups of vampires, I'm pretty sure I saw a boom mike in one shot. I remarked on this, and Emily said it often happens during film classes that they'll be watching something and someone will catch a glimpse of a boom mike. Whereupon all assembled will yell, "Boom mike!" and laugh.
