Deja vu all over again

Crap.  I allowed myself to read a bit about Dr. Tiller, and now I'm having flashbacks to ten years ago.  Dr. Slepian was such a decent man.  I installed landscape lights all around his house in July of '98.  It took several days.  Some mornings he would let me into his yard while he was still in his bathrobe.  He'd probably been up all night delivering a baby.  His wife was and is a feisty, down-to-earth human being.  Having moved from Rochester to Buffalo fairly recently, I had no idea who he was until people I worked with at my main job told me.  I didn't care.  Personally, I'm pro-abortion, but I was there to work.  I met all their sons, who ranged in age between 7 and early teens at the time, in the process.   The sons who saw him bleed to death months later in their kitchen.
The fact that this latest killing occurred in a place of worship I find especially obscene.
I've got to get back out into the garden to do some dirt therapy.
