planting seeds
I planted some seeds today. Mostly radish, but some carrot & chive in the mix.
The last batch of seeds I planted, none of the carrot seeds sprouted. Not sure if ants made off with them, or if they are just duds. The radish seeds sprouted, but only about a third of them "radished." By which I mean formed the bulb that is the radish part. They just grew lots of leaves, instead. I ate some of the greens, but they are kinda prickly and not very tasty. I'm guessing the potting soil was too high in nitrogen. I'll have to see if I can find some bone meal to mix in.
Are any of you growing anything?
