I took a little bit of leftover rotelli pasta and added the meat from a little bit of leftover barbeque ribs. Put in the last little bit of a bag of peas. Then a drizzle of olive oil, a grind of black pepper, a dusting of oregano, a pinch of red pepper flakes. Tossed it all together, heated it. While I ate, I drank a little bit of the last of a bottle of red wine leftover from last night, and nibbled a little bit of aged cheese.
I was trusting my sense of what might go together. Still, it was tastier than I expected, at least by a little. There's no more left.
