Aaaaaa...another swell AWA this year.

On Friday I awoke at nine AM to prepare myself for the magical weekend. Michi soon arrived a little after ten, and after stops at each of our banks and Eckerd's for a camera...we set off for the Galleria. We arrived at a lovely time...because Michi does not suck...and got our badges and walked around some while also selling my ball tickets to some dorky navy guy. We soon realized it was time to head back to EC for some picking up...and also, as it turned out, some dropping off...which worked out nicely since poor Alia forgot her purse at school...and was running a bit late herself...^^;; So, after dropping off a few Lassiter kiddies and picking up Jamie and Alia we all headed back over to AWA-land for happy fun. We met Beanie and her Spinach who had been suffering through photos all day (what do you expect when Beanie makes the best Sesshomaru ever) and settled ourselves into the room, which, while not as spiffy as last year's corner room...was still much with the lovely...<3 Alia and Jamie headed off to receive their badges while Michi and I went down to her car for a few forgotten things and some abnormally priced canned drinks...>.o After sitting around for a while longer, we all went out to eat at a lovely sushi restaurant Michi recommended...I had lovely chicken teriyaki...it was tasty, mmm. Yumminess ceased when we all completed out meals and we headed back over to the hotel for happy J-Music videos of love. Once the videos ended it was back to the room for a fashion show of Saturday's cosplay outfits so that we could all work out the kinks. Upon the hour of...sometime after five...we finally all hit the sack.

Twas then a lovely Saturday that fell upon us. We all woke up sometime between ten and eleven and got ourselves all ready to go...making it then...two...^^;; We then all proceeded to head to the Dealer's room...and about twenty minutes later, after being stopped for pictures every two steps (we did make a happy Inuyasha cosplay group after all), we arrived and all split up to walk around. At three, Michi, Alia, Chris, and I all went over to the panel on EGL, followed by B-chan's happy panel of J-Music love (although Alia left after the gothic & lolita panel). Both panels were quite enjoyable...<3 We left B-chan's a bit early to return to the room in hopes of finding Alia and Jaime...however, we instead came upon a Bean and Spinach who were preparing to leave for TMBG (from which I would receive a wonderful button...thank you my Beanie!). It was then off to the third Inuyasha movie...where we met up with our lost group members. The movie was quite good...and very fun...it's amusing when the entire theater all claps and "aww"'s and cheers and laughs at the same time...^^ When the movie ended, it was time for some dinner over at the good ol' Waffle House, where the lovely Adrienne joined us. Dinner was happy...and also filling...and after it's completion we naturally went back to our AWA-land, parted ways with an Enne, and the rest of us skipped off for the J-Pop sleepover. It was there that we watched happy PV's and, of course, Moon Child...and seeing Gackt land on his ass just never seems to get old. Once departing from the sleepover...we headed back to the room for some TV happiness and finally regrouped with Bean and Spinach...and then it was bed time.

On Sunday we all got up around ten and proceeded to pack up before check-out at eleven. After putting our luggage away in the cars we all walked around the Dealer's room for Dealer's room fun. Alia bought people happy keychains and such of ourselves...which was quite happy...^^ Lunch took place later in the restaurant of Jock's and Jill's...quite nice...then it was back to the Dealer's room. After Spinach got the Ryutaro-Michi (or shall I say Panda?) to be in a picture with the pretty Asian guy behind a booth, it was time to leave the Dealer's room...for us anyway. We sat around some...and after watching some of the closing ceremony...it was time to journy home.

...and now I am here...wishing I was back there. It is indeed such a magical place...AWA. For despite it's slow elevators that smell of fanboy, ugly spandex-sporting cat girls that ask to bear my children, and sluts that look like Chii...it is truly a lovely yearly getaway...may the next one come as soon as this one passed by...<3
