I am finding that I may have been entirely honest.
I have claimed that I am functioning optimally away from the Enterprise. Over the last three nights I have been having strange dreams that lead me to the conclusion that the absence of my crew is beginning to affect the productivity of my net. I would like permission to run an investigatory scan in engineering to see if there is some damage done to my neurons. They may have been damaged by the thalaron generator and I am only now detecting the ill-effects.
[He honestly didn't know missing people ordinarily hurt so much. He thinks that something must be wrong with him. Everyone else seems to have acclimated fine, at least to his observation. But he still feels uncomfortable and has difficulty focusing whenever he looks back.]
I would also like to request scans of the rooms of the absent officers. They might give use clues as to the Time Agency's methods of transportation.
