I made ROBOTS at work this week, boy my job is tough....

This was a great week at work,
I got to come up with alot of cool new designs including my personal suggestion of doing ROBOTS as pewter ornaments, nice and shiney metal, yum! I think they would sell like hotcakes, assuming everyone likes robots as much as i do anyway. So the process began early in the week where I researched old style robots with a mix of modern PLA-ism. After doing a fiew vector sketches in Corel Draw i use these to create a 3d model with ARTCAM (a powerful art meets the technical world of 3d modeling program):

Once the official Aitkenspewter heads meet and agree on the conceptual design specs we proceed with carving it out of plastick and then making molds out of those carvings (the same machine I'
m currently useing bits from for my painting which i haven't had time to work on yet...)
on my last day (thursday), i got to have a glimpse at my full week's labor, it was awesome to see what I have created out of nothing:

So stay tuned i'll post up some finished Pewter pieces as soon as they're produced, and of cours this is the time where i must plug my work and urge anyone to buy them because if we don't sell 15 this year they will become discontinued :( . If they are a success, i've got 2 more great robot designs done and ready to go, i just need you guys to buy some once they're available at : www.aitkenspewter.com we take orders VIA internet so pass it along, I need to keep bringing home the bacon!

Let the week end and the weekend begin!
